Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Skilled in general cleaning duties and following company procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
