Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By working alongside the Aldi team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and collaboration.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Handle customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly
- Provide excellent customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team
- Report product feedback, manage inventory counts, and follow cash policies
- Adhere to company policies, ensure data security, and perform assigned duties
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
- Capable of using store equipment and upholding cleanliness standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Meet local regulations for alcohol handling and sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is beneficial
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
