Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver outstanding customer service and support day-to-day store operations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to support store improvement.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ensure data security.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment.
- Follow cleaning standards, company policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a professional manner.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
