Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting for our customers. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers effectively
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies
- Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe use of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
