Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. This role offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a competitive starting wage of $17.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow company cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently and accurately operate a cash register.
- Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
