Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to prevent losses.
- Comply with company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper operation of equipment including manual tools.
- Capability to meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
