Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security guidelines
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper operation of equipment
- General cleaning duties adherence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
