Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the store. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver top-notch customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Execute general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as per state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
