Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is well-maintained. Your exceptional customer service skills and teamwork will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
- Proficient in operating equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet all requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
