Job Description
We are seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store operates smoothly by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative attitude will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Execute other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and equipment.
- Capable of performing cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
