Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will involve enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined.
- Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, and maintain organized merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to maintain cleanliness standards and follow company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
