Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative attitude will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe use of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
- Compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Meeting state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
