Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly and provide exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in your daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and display merchandise neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Experience in retail operations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous work experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
