Job Description
We are looking for a Full Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining product merchandising, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and clean. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years for employment
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment and adherence to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- Equivalent knowledge from a combination of education and experience
