Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your role will involve merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues
- Participate in inventory counts as required
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of meeting physical requirements of the job
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
