Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including merchandising, cashiering, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. This position offers competitive starting pay at $17.50 per hour for 32-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Follow cleaning standards and company policies accurately.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience suffices.
