Job Description:
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's operations and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and keeping the store clean and organized. You will collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness in the store, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers
- Experience in general cleaning duties
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with state and local regulations for handling alcohol (if applicable)
