Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining our store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team. This position offers 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (MAP) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently and accurately operate a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment such as floor scrubbers and manual jacks.
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
