Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your commitment to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure shelves are stocked neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold data security and confidentiality standards.
- Complete any other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Skilled in using equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
