Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This position involves merchandising, cashiering, and general cleaning responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct inventory counts and report any issues or discrepancies
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company guidelines and maintain document security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
