Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) expected for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Give feedback to management on product issues, inventory losses, and scanning errors.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain company standards.
- Handle and sell alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior work experience in retail is an advantage.
