Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your contribution will directly impact the overall success of our store operations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales is required.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
