Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks including cashiering, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Offer outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts per guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize any potential losses.
• Follow company policies with a focus on security and document confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
