Job Description
We are looking for a Full Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience at Aldi.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies and uphold confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Skilled in general cleaning duties and following company procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
