Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in supervising day-to-day store activities, enhance overall store performance, manage schedules, develop operational plans, and identify training opportunities to foster team growth.

• Starting Wage: $23.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Understand company strategy and uphold organizational values.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback on products.
• Participate in the hiring process.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues as needed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Manage and guide team performance effectively.
• Operate a cash register and store equipment proficiently.
• Communicate effectively and stay organized.
• Meet state and local requirements for beverage handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience (preferred).
