Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in store management, overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans. Your responsibilities will include supervising the team, providing training opportunities, and maintaining store standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities for team development.
- Ensure adherence to company values and strategies for a cohesive team environment.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and provide product feedback.
- Supervise store operations, address customer concerns, and maintain inventory.
- Uphold company policies, security, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
- 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of retail operations and management principles.
- Experience with cash handling and equipment operation.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Minimum 3 years retail experience; management experience a plus.
