Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated FT Mechanic/Technician Apprentice to join Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. As an apprentice in this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the equipment used for freight transportation in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, while working towards becoming a skilled technician.
Responsibilities
- Track and complete work to maintain production and meet service schedules.
- Troubleshoot and analyze component parts and systems of trucks, tractors, and forklifts.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol tests.
- Prior experience in Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, or related fields preferred but not required.
Pay
$25.32-$27.30 Per Hour
