Job Description
Join the prestigious TPC Network as a Fitness Specialist at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for providing golf-specific fitness assessments and programs to members and guests, supporting the Golf Instructors of the Performance Center.
Responsibilities
- Ensure professional and courteous welcome to all members and guests.
- Provide golf-specific assessments and programs as directed by the Director of Instruction.
- Assist in planning, promoting, and executing golf-specific fitness programs.
- Maintain accurate student profiles and solicit feedback for program improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry technology and operate related systems.
- Ensure safe and secure operation of the facility.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional golf-specific fitness experience.
- Working knowledge of golf course operations.
- TPI Certified and CPR/AED Certified preferred.
- Previous experience in golf-specific fitness teaching desirable.
Physical Demands
This position operates in a professional office environment with physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and visual acuity. Compliance with safety regulations is essential.
Work Schedule and Supervision
- Flexible shifts based on business levels.
- No direct supervisory responsibilities.
