Field Service Engineer (Food Processing)

Job Description

Quickstaff USA, a leading staffing company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to work on automated handling systems in the food/pet food industry. This role involves a mix of onsite travel and office-based work, providing installation, service, repair, and training for our clients. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installation, service, and repair of automated handling systems.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Prepare service quotes for spare parts, inspections, and revisions.
• Collaborate with engineering on project testing and functionality.
• Ensure detailed reporting of all service activities.

Requirements

• Experience in Animal or Food Processing and/or Packaging.
• 3-5 years of experience with automated machinery.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• High School diploma; 2- or 4-year technology or electronics degree a plus.
• Availability for weekend and holiday work (occasionally).
