Field Service Engineer (Food Processing)

Job Description

Quickstaff USA, a leading staffing company based in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. This role involves servicing and maintaining automated handling systems for the food and pet food industry with a mix of onsite travel and office-based responsibilities. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installation, service, repair, and training at customer sites to ensure high and predictable output for clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installation, service, and repair of automated handling systems.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Prepare service quotes for spare parts, inspections, and revisions.
• Ensure detailed reporting of all service activities.
• Collaborate with engineering on project testing and functionality.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in Animal or Food Processing and/or Packaging.
• High School diploma; 2- or 4-year technology or electronics degree preferable.
• 3-5 years of experience with automated machinery.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Valid passport or eligibility to obtain one.
• Availability for weekend and holiday work occasionally.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
