Engineer Supervisor

Job Description

The Studio Allston Hotel is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department. As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the property, equipment, and grounds are maintained to high standards of repair and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing maintenance plans for property and assets.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Supervise Engineers and ensure they are properly trained in customer service and standard procedures.
• Participate in energy conservation programs and review guest feedback to address issues promptly.
• Administer vendor contracts, control expenses, and assist in financial forecasting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Supervisory skills and trade school/college coursework preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle heavy work.
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
