Job Description
The Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay is seeking a part-time Engineer Maintenance to join our team. As part of Highgate Hotels, a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company, we are committed to excellence in guest service and operations. In this role, you will assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment throughout the property. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests and maintaining the functionality of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks for guest rooms, including various repairs and touch-ups.
- Maintain and repair ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, and more.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and energy conservation monitoring.
- Address alarms promptly, assess emergency situations, and report findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is desirable.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state and acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record are necessary.
- State of Hawaii TB Clearance is mandatory.
- Salary Range: $25.30 - $26.82 per hour.
