Job Description
We are hiring an Engineer Maintenance to join our team. Residence Inn Portland/Scarborough is part of Highgate Hotels, known for its innovative approach to real estate investment and hospitality management. As an Engineer Maintenance, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities through equipment maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including light bulb changes and minor repairs.
- Maintain and repair ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, HVAC, and more.
- Handle plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and energy conservation tasks.
- Respond promptly to alarms, determine emergency status, and report findings.
- Complete any other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state is a must.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) specific to the property is required.
