Job Description
La Quinta Ventura is seeking an Engineer Maintenance to join our team. As a part-time member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure a seamless guest experience. Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including minor repairs and touch-ups.
- Maintain and repair ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and monitor energy conservation efforts.
- Respond to alarms promptly, determine emergency status, and report findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensing in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
- Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record specific to the property.
