Job Description
Join our team at Hampton Inn Fairview Heights as an Engineer. Highgate Hotels, a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company, is seeking a dedicated individual to assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in our property. As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of various facilities to provide a seamless experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks for guest rooms, including minor repairs and touch-ups.
- Maintain and repair various equipment such as ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, monitor energy conservation, and respond to alarms promptly.
- Carry out any other assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state is mandatory.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) as required by the property.
