Job Description
We are seeking an Engineer to join the Residence Inn Potomac Mills team. As part of our hotel maintenance staff, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including vinyl repair, touch-up paint, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, and tile repairs.
- Perform maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, swimming pool, and hot tub.
- Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, and maintenance on exhaust fans and supply systems.
- Monitor energy conservation and respond to alarms promptly to ensure guest safety.
- Complete other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
