Job Description
The Engineer Level 2 position at Stanford Court Hotel involves maintaining the property in optimal condition with minimal disruption to guests and employees. From air conditioning system repairs to preventive maintenance and equipment testing, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring a comfortable environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain hotel air conditioning systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
- Conduct required readings and records on equipment.
- Test and record cooling tower readings.
- Replace and program televisions and light fixtures.
- Repair furniture, plumbing, pumps, and kitchen equipment.
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; troubleshoot and repair water lines.
- Maintain and document repair and preventive maintenance actions.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards; test and repair swimming pools.
- Perform painting, sheet rock, wall coverings, and electronic lock system repairs.
- Assist in supervising engineering staff and scheduling maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
- Trade school or college coursework in a related field is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work flexible hours.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Effective problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- EPA certification is required.
