Engineer

Job Description

The Engineer, Level 1, at Altair Bay Harbor Hotel Miami is responsible for maintaining the property in optimal condition with minimal disruption to guests and staff. This role involves a variety of tasks related to equipment maintenance, repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to the hotel's air conditioning system, including changing filters and cleaning coils.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical systems, etc.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment and systems.
• Perform plumbing repairs, furniture repairs, and painting tasks.
• Maintain repair and maintenance records in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Trade school or college coursework in a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage heavy physical work.
