Job Description
The Engineer, Level 1, at Mosaic Hotel & Maison 140 Beverly Hills is responsible for maintaining the property in optimal condition with minimal inconvenience to customers and employees. Responsibilities include performing repairs and preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems such as air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and more. The role entails reading blueprints, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with all codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to the hotel's air conditioning system.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Test equipment and record readings.
- Replace televisions, light fixtures, and other items as needed.
- Conduct furniture repairs, plumbing work, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment.
- Maintain repair and maintenance records.
- Inspect and repair swimming pools and spas.
- Perform painting, wall repairs, and electronic lock system maintenance.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Trade school or college coursework in a related field advantageous.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work flexible hours, and communicate effectively.
- Capable of handling physical tasks and exerting force as needed.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to cross-train and maintain confidentiality.
