Job Description
The Engineer, Level 1, at La Quinta Denver - Southwest/Lakewood is responsible for maintaining the property in optimal condition with minimal inconvenience to customers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to hotel air conditioning systems, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and test and record readings.
- Replace light switches, furniture, and perform plumbing repairs, including tracing and repairing water lines.
- Repair kitchen equipment, maintain repair records, and ensure work compliance with codes.
- Test, clean, and repair pools, spas, paint designated areas, and repair various wall coverings.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, at least one year of hotel-related experience, and familiarity with related field coursework.
- Ability to exert heavy force occasionally, communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain high grooming standards.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to handle complex information, and maintain confidentiality.
Salary
$17.50 - $20 per hour
