Job Description

The Engineer, Level 1, at La Quinta Denver - Golden is responsible for maintaining the property in the best possible condition with minimal inconvenience to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Test and record equipment readings, troubleshoot, and repair various systems.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment repairs.
• Maintain records and work to local, state, and Federal codes.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance, painting, sheet rock, and wall covering repairs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, hotel experience preferred.
• Flexible hours, ability to lift heavy weights required.
• Effective communication skills and service orientation.
• Attend required meetings and trainings, maintain high standards of appearance.
• Maximize productivity, solve problems, maintain confidentiality.
• Initiative, cross-train, and adapt to meet objectives.

Salary

$17.50/hr - $19.50/hr. Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k program.
