Job Description
Parkson Corp. is currently looking for a Designer Drafter to join our team in Shawnee, KS. The role involves providing hands-on drafting support, preparing detail drawings using CAD, ensuring drafting style consistency, managing CAD files, and more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detail drawings using CAD based on standards, sketches, and notes.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers to meet specifications and commitments.
- Create Submittal Packages, Fabrication Documentation Packages, Bill of Materials, etc.
- Manage CAD files in Autodesk Vault environment and routine data in cloud storage.
Requirements
- A two-year associates degree or certification with a focus on CAD or Engineering.
- 2+ years mechanical or industrial design and CAD experience in 3D.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or equivalent 3D software.
- Experience with municipal water or wastewater treatment equipment preferred.
