Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. This 24x7x365 position requires a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, PC troubleshooting, and management applications. The role demands professionalism and technical competence in interactions with customers and internal resources.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professionalism while conducting data center duties.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential's ticketing system.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Support 24/7 operations and perform physical and logical installations.
• Ensure cleanliness and security of the Data Center.
• Process shipping/receiving and manage security systems.
• Collaborate with the Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Self-starting and motivated individual.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in IT Support.
• Education: AA, BS, or High School Diploma.
• Network+, Security+, CCNA certifications desired.
• Microsoft MCP or MCSA preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Physical Requirements: Climbing, working aloft, cold environments, lifting heavy objects, cabling.

Base Pay Range

($19.33 - $22.67) offered, based on experience, location, and qualifications.
