Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
- Adhere to all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation skills
- Experience with equipment operation and general cleaning
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
