Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Adhere to all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service
  • Efficient cash register operation skills
  • Experience with equipment operation and general cleaning
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
