Job Description

We are recruiting a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly, from merchandising and stocking products to providing exceptional customer service. This position offers a full-time schedule, averaging 32-40 hours per week, with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating with team members.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
  • Support inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform physical tasks like stocking shelves and operating equipment.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Capable of offering prompt and courteous service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
