Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the store is well-merchandised, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean environment. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in daily tasks
  • Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness
  • Assist customers and communicate effectively with the team
  • Provide feedback on products and inventory
  • Conduct store inventory counts as required
  • Follow cash policies and company procedures
  • Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient cash register operation
  • Safe equipment operation
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Meet local requirements for handling alcohol

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Retail work experience preferred
  • Education and experience combination for equivalent knowledge
