Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills to fulfill your role effectively.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meeting all relevant state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
