Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers through exceptional service and efficient stocking and merchandising of products. As a vital part of the ALDI team, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized store environment while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, and neatly stock shelves
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to store management
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality
- Perform any other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent customer service and cash register skills
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- Prior retail experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
