Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers through exceptional service and efficient stocking and merchandising of products. As a vital part of the ALDI team, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized store environment while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, and neatly stock shelves
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to store management
  • Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
  • Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality
  • Perform any other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent customer service and cash register skills
  • Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
