Job Description
We are looking for a proactive Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers by maintaining product displays, assisting with cashiering, and upkeeping store cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support customers throughout their shopping journey.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
- Contribute feedback to management on product issues, inventory, and operational concerns.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy according to guidelines.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Proficiency in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register with accuracy.
- Safe and proper handling of equipment such as a hand jack, floor scrubber, and baler.
- Capability to meet cleaning standards and adhere to company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A mix of education and relevant experience is considered.
