Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position involves merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, collaborate with team members, and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
  • Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Efficient cash register operation skills.
  • Ability to use equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Experience in retail operations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Capability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
  • Meeting requirements for handling alcoholic beverages, if applicable.
